Chris
Green Group
Chris was introduced to the Pied Piper program as a grandmother to a proud Piper alumni! She is now entering her fifth year on the Pied Piper staff, greatly contributing to our program, coming to us with 56 years of teaching experience. She has a degree in Psychology and Sociology and is a certified teacher of Kindergarten through sixth grade as well as Special Education students.
Chris has a particular love for preschool age children and has experience working in preschools, camps, and as the head teacher in the Enrichment Program at Mohansic.
Chris strives to help her students reach their full potential and loves to see their facial expressions change when they discover something new. She loves getting to read stories to her class and tries to make each story exciting and engage her students by asking them questions about the plot and the characters. She enjoys free play and small group time when she can engage students in board games, puzzles, and other fun activities.
Chris has recently moved into a more of a part time position within Pied Piper school, but remains a steady precense within our Pre-K program.
